Marana announces the appointment of Jeremy Knight as its new Director of Music. A Tucson native, Knight is a professional singer, music teacher, and choir conductor with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He has taught music privately and in schools for over ten years, and previously conducted a local Episcopal Church choir.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is calling on Arizona residents to participate in a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. to honor the fallen victims of the Newtown, Conn. shooting, which took the lives of 26 children and staff members of Sandy Hook Elementary School.
