For nearly all of 2010, people have deluged the Marana Town Council with facts, opinions, emotions, protests and demonstrations about the Marana Regional Landfill.

MUSD candidate forum to be held on Oct. 5
After several hours of presentations and public comments, the Marana Planning Commission voted 3-2 Wednesday night to recommend adoption of a rezoning request that would allow a regional landfill within a 590-acre parcel currently west of the town limits.
With one dissenting vote, the Marana Town Council has decided to amend the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District land development agreement.
