Being built to reflect more of the town’s community and history, the first phase of the Marana Heritage River Park is close to completion. The first phase is the community and demonstration garden.
Summer is over and everyone is ready to get outdoors again. That’s especially good news if you’re a hiker and live in or near Marana.
Many know the tale of Romeo and Juliet, a classic Shakespearean tragedy of forbidden love and sacrifice. For the ROMEO’s of Northwest Tucson, the only tragedy is when the restaurant does not serve beer at lunchtime.
Business seems to be improving and sprouting in new forms in Marana, from restaurants to health care facilities, and food markets to personal services providers, according to the Marana Chamber of Commerce.
