Where would MUSD spend bond money?
Beset by decreased state dollars to maintain facilities, buy buses and replace computers, the Marana Unified School District is turning to its voters for help.

By a margin of 28 votes, people in the Amphitheater School District have passed Proposition 403, the maintenance and operations property tax override used by the district to maintain lower class sizes, offer expanded elementary school art, music and physical education classes, and bolster teacher compensation.
By narrow margins, Amphitheater School District’s two budget override propositions appear to have been defeated in Tuesday's election.
On and before Nov. 3, Amphitheater School District voters should say "yes" to Propositions 403 and 404, the property tax overrides for operations and maintenance, and for capital outlay.
