(BPT) - The travel industry’s hottest trend, river cruising, provides a wonderful alternative to mainstream cruises and megaships. With hundreds of options to sail the amazing waterways of Europe (the Danube, Rhine, Rhone, Seine, Saone and Moselle rivers) and exotic destinations via the Yangtze, Mekong, Irrawaddy and Amazon, small-ship cruising is becoming one of the most popular ways for Americans to both experience and explore the world.
The party returned to Marana once again this year.
Last week, staff from The Explorer stepped foot into the Metropolitan Grill, otherwise known as “America’s Kitchen,” located at 7892 N. Oracle Road.

There is no need to hire a guide, look at blurry film footage, and follow footprints in the mud to find The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen, located at Ina Road and La Cholla Boulevard.
During its “Shop Oro Valley” Summer Campaign from June 1 to July 31, 2012, Oro Valley residents and visitors spending $25 or more at an Oro Valley business were eligible to participate in a weekly gift card drawing, sponsored by more than 30 Oro Valley businesses. Thanks to the generosity of our participating businesses, the Town was able to award 50 prizes such as gift cards and free services.

From drawing little sketches for friends to painting a mural live on stage at the Rialto Theatre, Tucson’s Joe Pagac has carved out a niche for himself in this artistically-growing city.
Last March, the Town of Oro Valley launched a Dine Oro Valley campaign – a spin-off of the Town’s existing Shop Oro Valley campaign and business retention and Expansion Program. Each month the Town Council randomly selects an Oro Valley restaurant, meets with the restaurant’s owner and then dines together. Each Councilmember personally pays for his/her own meal.
