Marana High School, in the Marana Unified School District, announces Camron Dozier to serve as interim head girls basketball coach.
Friday night means a full slate of football games involving Northwest Teams. The highlight of the schedule is the rivalry match-up between Canyon Del Oro and Ironwood Ridge.
Marana got a good win Wednesday night in girls volleyball, while CDO and Mountain View each fell in straight sets.
This week just three area teams are ranked in their respective top-10 polls, while two more were still receiving votes despite suffering loses last week.
The CDO, Marana and Mountain View girls volleyball teams were in action on Tuesday night and all three teams struggled.
