On Tuesday, Tiger Woods announced he will play in the 64-player Accenture Match Play Championship, to be held at Dove Mountain's Ritz-Carlton Golf Club on Feb. 20-24. Woods is returning from a 17th-place finish last year.

The Professional Golfer’s Association teamed up with Accenture and the Tucson Conquistadores to bring the Accenture Match Play Championship to the Ritz-Carlton at the Dove Mountain Golf Club the week of Feb. 20-26.
Last year’s Match Play Luke Donald is ready to return to Tucson where all his good fortunes began. Donald was recently named PGA Player of the Year.

Mar. 21, 2011 - The PGA Tour, on behalf of the International Federation of PGA Tours, and Accenture have announced that the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship will again be played at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz., in 2012. The event, which is the first of four World Golf Championships of the season, has been played in the Tucson area since 2007 and at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain since 2009. The 2012 Accenture Match Play Championship is scheduled for Feb. 20-26.

Luke Donald dominated during the 2011 Accenture Match Play Championship by playing the least amount of holes of any one who has ever won the event. Donald defeated Martin Kaymer 3 and 2 on Sunday.
