The Cienega Bobcats no doubt had revenge on the mind as their bus pulled into the parking lot of Mountain View High School on Friday evening.
The Mountain View Mountain Lions kept the Cienega Bobcats scoreless tonight in a 21-0 contest.
The Mountain View High School football program will be looking to return to the Division II playoffs under second-year coach Clarence “Bam” McRae, who turned what was a struggling program into a legitimate threat in 2012. Prior to last season, the Mountain Lions’ last playoff appearance was 2008.
Right about now you are likely asking yourself “what the heck is an Ouya?”, and rightfully so, as pretty much the only people familiar with this system are avid gamers, developers, and those who happen to frequent Kickstarter.com.

In years past you have likely seen the Apple commercials showing the cool, fun, tech savvy, Justin Long stating “I’m a Mac” followed by the nerdy, boring, suited John Hodgman stating “And I’m a PC”. The commercials were witty and very effective in landing the message: unless you are boring, and want to do nothing more with your computer than build spreadsheets and enter data, you should own a Mac. So effective in fact, that Microsoft retaliated with a series of “I’m a PC” ads designed to show everyday people, not just boring cubicle inhabiting drones, to be “PC’s”. Ultimately, the win for this marketing battle went to Apple, as their market share increased, and it suddenly became “cool” to own an Apple computer.
I am a techno-geek. Reading about the latest and greatest technology excites me, like a kid in a candy store. I love it all- the newest big screen TV’s, smart phones, computers, game consoles, and tablets. You name it, I am into it. I even love the challenge of confronting and fixing the growing pains that new technology can present.
The Marana Tigers baseball team came back from an early 3-0 deficit to defeat the Mountain View Mountain Lions 7-6 in an eight-inning stretch.
