The Pima Community College women’s golf team finished tied for second place at the Mesa Invitational at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course on Wednesday. This is the fourth time this season the Lady Aztecs have taken second place.
Even with difficult course conditions, the Canyon Del Oro golf team rallied together to finish third in the Division II state championship on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-26, at Aguila Golf Course.
The Pima Community College women’s golf team improved by 19-strokes in the final day of its tournament at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course on Sunday in Mesa and finished in second place with a 697. Mesa Community College took first at 641.
The Pima Community College men’s golf team finished 9-strokes behind first place Scottsdale Community College and finished fifth for the tournament on Sunday at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Mesa. Pima was 1-stroke behind from Mesa Community College, who took fourth.
The Pima Community College women’s golf team finished the two-day tournament at the Silverbell Golf Course in second place on Tuesday. Josie Trapnell earned medalist honors after finishing second in the individual tournament with a two-day total of 160 (82-78).

Canyon Del Oro participated in the Dobson Ranch Invitational on Oct. 5-6, placing fourth as a team against 21 other schools from Division I and II.
