On Monday, Aug 25, 2014, at approximately 5:40 p.m., an armed robbery took place at the McDonalds at 3830 W. Ina Rd. Suspect entered through the east doors of the business and approached the cashier implying a weapon and demanded cash from the register.
On Aug. 21 The Oro Valley Police Department was contacted by Tucson Police Department in reference to a bank robbery suspect in their jurisdiction. TPD believed the suspect in custody was the same suspect in Oro Valley’s Aug. 12 bank robbery.
23-year-old Patrice Gomis was arrested and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on Oro Valley charges for Armed Robbery, Fraud and Forgery.
On July 19, 2014, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 3733 W. Cortaro Farms Road, reference an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned a male entered the bank, implied he had a weapon, and gave a handwritten note to the teller. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running across the parking lot towards a nearby neighborhood. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

On April 4, the suspect responsible for robbing the Circle K at knife point on March 5, was arrested and identified as Sean Patrick Tighe, 43.
On Monday, March 17, at 8:20 p.m. the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a homeowner in the 2600 block of West Canyon Street, Apache Junction. The caller reported numerous male suspects attempted to kick in the back door to his residence and shots had been fired. Several deputies responded with the emergency lights and sirens. Our Dispatch received additional 9-1-1 calls from other residents in the neighborhood who reported hearing shots fired and one of the callers advised of a male subject who had been shot and was laying in a yard.
On Feb. 10 at around 12:40 a.m., Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to a burglary in progress at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of West Ina Road.

A 64-year-old woman was walking outside of a Subway restaurant on the east side when a man snatched her purse right out of her hands. But what the thief wasn't expecting was for the woman to fight back and pull his hood over his head.
On Monday, December 23rd, 2013 at 6:25 a.m. an armed robbery occurred at the “M Passion Adult Boutique” in Picacho Peak. Two armed suspects entered the business and tied up the female employee in a back room. The female was able to escape and called 9-1-1 as the suspects were running out the back door. The safe from the business was taken by the suspects.
Sources say an externally contracted loss prevention employee will not be rewarded benefits, including workman's compensation, after he was tasered while attempting to prevent a burglary on Sept. 21.
On September 21, 2013, at 6:35 p.m., Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to the Safeway located at the intersection of Ina and Oracle in reference an armed robbery.
On Tuesday, October 8 around 3:30 p.m., Marana Police Department officers responded to the National Bank of America located at 11853 West Marana Road in response to a robbery that occurred. Upon arrival, the officers determined that the suspects had fled from the scene.
On September 12, at about 10:30 p.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the Circle K, located at 3712 West Cortaro Farms Road, in response to a strong-armed robbery.
The suspect associated with an armed bank robbery at the US Bank located at 7685 East Broadway on September 6 was identified as 52-year-old Vincent Mark Cesare. Major Theft Offenders Unit of the Tucson Police Department located Cesare on the evening of September 10.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Phoenix Police Department, the Pinal County Attorney’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations in Douglas now have five suspects in custody for murder and are looking for a sixth suspect who has a warrant for his arrest for murder.
The Tucson Police Department is happy to report that the male suspect responsible for the robbery incident that occurred at the US Bank located inside the Safeway grocery store at 1940 East Broadway has been both identified and apprehended. In addition, the same male has been identified and arrested in relation to several other robbery incidents.
The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect. On May 18, 2013, at 6:42 p.m., the suspect entered the Circle K located at 3155 East Speedway Boulevard and picked up a 30 pack of beer from the display case. As he was leaving, he approached the clerk and pointed a handgun, waving it at the clerk. He then put the gun away and left with the beer.
