As the 2012-year drew to a close, Catherine Reynolds and Erin Brittain were named the co-winners of the Anytime Fitness Challenge.
Well, the challenge is officially over. I cannot believe how fast the year went! I have really enjoyed seeing the transformation in my body, and in my eating habits. I have made a lifestyle change for life! I feel so good, that I will never go back to my old ways. I want to encourage anyone who is struggling with getting fit and healthy. Just give yourself a year and do it! Commit to exercising and eating healthy and find some accountability. Give a gift to yourself and get a trainer, even if it is to just get started. Join a gym and get ideas from those working out around you. Get your spouse or a friend to join you. I never imagined how good I would feel, and after a year, working out is not easy but definitely more enjoyable.
Well, down to the last week of this challenge! I cannot believe the year went so fast. I must admit that I am very sad for this challenge to be over. I learned so much about exercise, weight lifting, healthy eating, and lifestyle changes. I have been so spoiled with having a trainer think for me and tell me what to do.
Happy Thanksgiving! This year, as I list the things I am thankful for, this fitness challenge is at the top of my list! I am thankful for the opportunity that Anytime Fitness and my trainer Zach have provided. Most of all, I am thankful for how good I feel!
In December of last year, six individuals were chosen among 78 Explorer applicants to participate in the Anytime Fitness Challenge – a yearlong, complimentary training program offered at two of the Anytime Fitness centers in Northwest Tucson.
I’ve really been trying hard this week in the gym and at home with my diet. I feel like I’m doing things right and have been looking forward to seeing positive (meaning negative!) changes in the scale. But, that’s not how it is working out, as I am seeing numbers go up a little.
Well, it's decathlon time. I am ready to go in and have some fun with other members of Anytime Fitness. My goal is to go in and push myself harder than I ever have. It will be so fun to see how far I have come in 7 months. When I started this journey, I could not even do one pushup, couldn't do a real, full sit up, and running for a couple minutes was enough to have me gasping for air and thinking I might die! With Zach pushing me, I have come farther than I ever thought possible. (And I still have over 4 months to go!) I am feeling great, with lots of energy and the best part is that my husband is really enjoying how I look and feel. Recently he said, "You have too much energy!" Never would I have thought that phrase would ever be said about me. If I (a sugar/carb lover, no energy, 100 lbs overweight, never have time to exercise...) can do this, so can you!
Hello readers and fellow dieters!
Greetings blog readers!!! I am going into the sixth month of training. I now work out with Tim once a week. He makes it hurt oh so good. I love the benefit of being able to work out anytime. It is very convenient and always a clean and friendly environment. I also love the one person shower and locker room.
Hello blogger readers and fellow dieters!
Another week has passed by and I lost four more pounds in a week! I am very proud of myself and appreciated the support from my friends and family. It seems like health and wellness is surrounding me which is making the exercise and dieting even easier. Ive been continuing working out and eating right because seeing that four pounds off the scale has made me want to drop four more in a week! Although realistically two a week is more attainable, however seeing another four would be amazing! I have even needed to buy new exercise pants because my old ones were too big and kept slipping as I tried to run on the treadmill! I think once I am below 300 I will treat myself to a new hair color, highlights perhaps? But the Anytime Fitness at Tangerine Crossing has got some new channels on the cardio machines that I live at and it is awesome! While I huffed and puffed on the treadmill I watched "Maid in Manhattan" and it gave member the motivation to get a bootie like Jennifer Lopez and I bumped up my level to work harder! Well thats all for this week! Till next time!
Hello fellow dieters
Man do I hate running! The only way that I can get myself to hop on that treadmill and start the running palooza is to think of Tara Costa from Biggest Loser running a marathon and not stopping till she finishes, so I have decided to set a goal for myself to run a full marathon! Of course I plan to build up to that big ol marathon with 5k and half marathons. Good plan yeah? Look for my updates cause I will be making sure you all feel that motivation to join me to build up some endurance and inspire other overweight folks out there to walk or jog or full out sprint!
Week Numero Seven opens with a great workout. Legs and core, (stomach). Also with the lovely weigh in, and measurements. I am stuck at only losing five pounds.
Hey Tucson, Jesse Morales here. Another great week of workouts done. I wanted to talk about not giving up on your goals.
Well, it has officially been two months since I started with this fitness challenge.

Week 9 has been a battle between my mind and my body. I am trying to remain committed and really engage myself during my workouts, but my body is fatigued and ready for a break. Slowly, I can feel the "devil" of my body convincing the "angel" of my mind to come to the dark side.
Hello readers and fellow dieters!
