An underground water line break has resulted in no running water in some buildings on the campus of Marana Middle School. Water remains available in one portion of the campus. Portable restroom facilities and hand wash stations are being delivered and bottled water will be available all day.
Marana Unified School District students will begin the school year
The Marana Unified School District (MUSD) invites the public to view the following high school textbook prior to possible adoption and use at Mountain View High School.
The Marana Unified School District Food Services Department is working to make sure that no children in the community go hungry when school is out, and beginning June 2, 2014 expects to serve over 12,000 free meals through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program.

Marana Water customers with a service address zip code of 85653, 85658 or those who do not have sewer charges on their statements received an incorrect bill in the mail for May 2013. The statement they received was a copy of the bill due on March 8, 2013.
The Marana Community Food Bank received a $5,000 TRICO Electric Cooperative Power Grant. The grant has been used to purchase peanut butter with help from the Fry’s Food Store #689 at Tangerine and Thornydale roads.

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Marana Middle School will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its new Fitness Center, housing cardio and weight rooms and Gym facility with climbing wall.
