Denver, CO – (April 23, 2013) –, a Denver-based college sports startup announced today that former Phoenix Sun and six-time NBA All-Star Walter Davis has joined their player analysis team. In his role at, Davis will utilize this extensive experience to help supplement the already impressive roster of former college and NBA players that contribute content as Hub Insiders.


“Walter shares a passion for bringing the college sports fan base in-depth analysis from former players of their respective sports. We are ecstatic to add him to the team.” said CEO Reggie Davis (no relation).


Affectionately known as “The Greyhound” in his playing days for his speedy style and sleek physical appearance, Davis joins with a remarkable resume and unique understanding of sophisticated NBA-style scouting techniques. He will provide users with extensive knowledge of player development, not only from his time on the court, but also from his experience as an NBA scout, broadcaster and community ambassador, and work to mentor up-and-coming athletes and journalists.


“Walter joining our team is extremely important as we seek to establish ourselves as the online leader in high school and college player evaluations,” said Davis (Reggie). “In a competitive market where content comes in many forms, not too many online publishers can display a team of individuals that have played, coached, and scouted at the highest levels of the game.



UsportsHub simplifies college sports by creating a one-stop destination for fans to keep up with their favorite teams and gain access to professional insight from former players. The current site, beta, an online college sports publication that provides news, rumors and expert analysis on all 346 teams in men’s NCAA Division 1 basketball. UsportsHub is looking extend the current site to include other college sports and add new features that make it easier to be an informed fan.
