In preparations for their first season, the Tucson Padres, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, have announced their front office staff. Baseball front office veterans, new additions and former athletes have joined the roster.

Tucson Padres Vice President and General Manager Mike Feder brings nearly 30 years of professional baseball front office experience. Feder served as the vice president and general manager of the Tucson Toros and Tucson Sidewinders Triple-A teams from 1989-2000. A member of the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame, in 1997 he received the Conquistadors Award for long and meritorious service to the Tucson sports community.

Tucson Padres Senior Advisor Jack Donovan has been involved with professional sports for more than 38 years, both as a player and front office executive. After pitching professionally in the Angels and Dodgers organizations, he began owning teams in Minor League Baseball.

The Tucson Padres staff may be the most athletic in all of Triple-A Baseball. Between Director of Community Relations Crissy Ahmann (now Crissy Perham) and Sports Marketing Specialist Ed Vosberg, the staff has an Olympic Medalist and a 10-year Major League pitcher. Ahmann won two gold medals and one silver medal for the United States Olympic Team in the 1992 Summer Games. Vosberg, a Tucson native, pitched for eight Major League teams and was the first player to play in the Little League World Series, College World Series and World Series.

In addition, staff members include:

• Ray Depa, senior account executive. Depa's 44 years in the news business include two different stints as the news director of KGUN-TV, Channel 9 in Tucson. He is the former chair of the Arizona Broadcasters Association and past president of the Tucson Advertising Federation.

• Pattie Feder, business manager and director of merchandise. Feder has worked in professional baseball over 30 years, most recently as the travel coordinator for the New Orleans Zephyrs.

• Sandy Davis, director of inside sales. Davis is entering her 16th year in professional baseball, with previous experience working for the Triple-A Tucson Toros, Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders and the Independent Tucson Toros.

• Debbie Clark, director of Game Day Staff and graphic designer. Her 10 years working in the Tucson baseball community include jobs with the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders and Independent Tucson Toros.

• Eric May, director of operations. His 14 years in baseball include jobs with the Tucson Toros, Tucson Sidewinders, Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox spring training, and the Pima County Stadium District.

• James Jensen, director of sales. Jensen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Communication. He spent four seasons coordinating the Spring Training Operations for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox.

• Tim Hagerty, director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. He is entering his eighth season in professional baseball, and has broadcasted for the Triple-A Portland Beavers, Double-A Mobile BayBears and Short-Season Idaho Falls Chukars.

Tucson Padres begin play in the Pacific Coast League in April. For a game schedule and more news about the Tucson Padres, visit http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/index.jsp?sid=t549.
