The Pima Community College baseball team (20-11) closed out the South Mountain CC Tournament on Saturday with another dominating pitching performance and its balanced offense as the Aztecs beat Douglas College (Canada) 10-0 in eight innings.

Cole Plouck (Empire HS) and Ben Skuro (Sabino HS) combined to throw a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Plouck picked up the win (2-2) and threw six innings with seven strikeouts and three walks. Skuro pitched the final two innings with four strikeouts and one walk.

The Aztecs pitching staff has not allowed a run to score in their last 22 innings and the offense has scored 46 runs in the last three games.

The offense hit three triples in the game. Kellen Marruffo (Sabino HS) hit an RBI triple in the third inning to score Devon Carrillo (Sahuaro HS) to make it 3-0. A.J.
