In order to serve the greatest number of families in our area, Catalina Community Services hosts, and participates in, the Coalition of Caring Communities. We collaborate with other non-profits and organizations operating holiday family adoption programs to ensure that we are all able to stretch our resources to the best potential - and keep from duplicating services. Each organization takes on a different set of families.

It’s easy to participate in this year’s Adopt-a-Family Program! Sponsors provide a couple of toys and an article of clothing or two for a child. Sign up now (before Thanksgiving) to be matched to one of the 200 children whose names have been submitted for this program. Chose the number of children you would like to adopt, receive a simple wish list, and deliver the items, wrapped, to our offices before mid-December. To participate, please contact Program Coordinator Iliana Recinos at 825-0009 or iliana@catalinacommunityservices.org

Founded in 2000, Catalina Community Services is a nonprofit organization providing assistance to residents in Northwest Tucson, Catalina, Oro Valley, Southeast Pinal County, Vail, and neighboring rural communities. With the vision of improving lives and inspiring futures of individuals and families, we help feed the hungry, care for seniors, provide clothing to those in need, and offer educational programs for our youth and literacy skills for adults. At the heart of our core values is respect for the goodness and dignity in all. The Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce honored Catalina Community Services with the Pinnacle Award as Outstanding Nonprofit for 2012.
