The Town is seeking nominations of outstanding residents and organizations to be considered for the Branding Iron and Ora Mae Harn Crystal Legacy awards.
The Marana Police Department will be conducting DUI Saturation Patrols in conjunction with the Southern Arizona DUI Task Force throughout the Labor Day Weekend. Labor Day Weekend is traditionally one of the most dangerous weekends on our roadways. Our goal is to make this a safe weekend for everyone, and prevent serious injuries and fatal collisions. Officers will be proactive in our efforts to prevent these traffic collisions from occurring, and stress the importance of having a designated sober driver and drinking responsibly.
The Town has open positions for its Marana Citizens Forum. The forum brings residents, business owners and community partners together to study and address multidisciplinary issues facing the Town. Recommendations are presented to the Town Council.
The Town is seeking a qualified resident for its Planning Commission.
The American Red Cross and Town of Marana are hosting a blood drive May 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Marana Municipal Complex (11555 W. Civic Center Drive).

The Second Annual Marana Main Street Festival will be a day of fun in the sun April 5 at the Marana Municipal Complex. The festival lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with food, arts and crafts vendors, RV camping and entertainment.
The Town of Marana Finance Department has been named recipient of a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the seventh consecutive year by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
