Every war in the 20th Century began when a democrat occupied the White House - WWI, Woodrow Wilson: WW II and Cold War, FDR; Korean Conflict, Truman; Vietnam, JFK and LBJ; U.S. Embassy seized in Iran, Carter; and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bill Clinton. Conversely, republican presidents Harding, Eisenhower, Nixon, and Reagan brought an end to those wars. Violent upheavals in the Middle East and North Africa, Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons and President Obama’s passive foreign policies, have fanned the flames of a radicalized region. Lethal weapons of mass destruction stockpiled in unstable nations, including nuclear, chemical and surface to air missiles, could be seized by terrorists and used to destroy Israel and threaten the U.S. After four Americans, including our Ambassador, were murdered in Benghazi, Libya, President Obama appeared at the United Nations and shamelessly blamed that tragedy on a homemade video.
Like former democrat presidents, Obama’s goal is to weaken America’s status as a super power by drastically downsizing the military to use monies “saved” to enact new social welfare programs. The decision to reduce the defense budget by $500 billion due to sequestration (his idea) will occur while Russia’s defense budget is set to increase 53 percent and China’s double-digit defense budget was increased to create an emerging super power. Failure to maintain a strong national defense and military force would severely impact America’s ability to defend itself if/when attacked or threatened.
Barack H. Obama’s past is a mystery. As war looms, it’s imperative that we know more about the Commander-In-Chief. The mystery as to who he really is and what he really believes must be exposed. For example, who shaped his core political philosophy and aspirations? Which nations and leaders, past and present, does he admire and why? What are his plans for his remaining years in office? What goals and objectives will he pursue? How does he envision the U.S. when he leaves office? As the threat of war grows, it’s important to know the basis for his decisions before it’s too late.
New leadership is desperately needed in D.C. to deal with deteriorating worldwide political and economic conditions and growing threat of war. The 2014 mid-term elections will be an opportunity to bring about change. If you are eligible to vote but are not registered, do so and help make the 2014 elections historic by ousting politicians that refuse to solve our nation’s precarious fiscal and military problems. The Democrat Party must be prevented from regaining full control of the U.S. Congress. God Bless America.
