For a time, the Communists in China were successful in transforming this relationship between men and women. Remember the unisex "Mao" jacket and pants combo? Very chic? All Chinese men and women wore the same gray outfit for years. Than a little capitalism creeped in to China, along with the Internet, and Chinese women now found themselves again (biology again) and many of them today dress like American women. But all is not lost....women have still advanced further than prior centuries.
