An Italian court has determined that Amanda Knox delivered the fatal blow to her British roommate, Meredith Kercher, in an aggressive 2007 that occured attack after apparent drug use.
Knox's boyfriend and a bar owner were also involved in the attack, and the victim was found with multiple stab wounds, including one by Knox that slit Kercher's throat.
The release of the court's reasoning opens the verdict to an appeal back to the Supreme Court of Cassation.
Knox previously saw her conviction overturned before it went to the appellate court. She had been living in the United States until 2011.
