Projects that will possibly slow your ETA - so be watching!

Interstate 10: Picacho Peak Road to Pinal Air Park Road

Picacho Peak Road

Through this Friday, July 31, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, intermittent single lane restrictions are scheduled for both directions of Picacho Peak Road under the bridge. Traffic will be maintained in both directions on the roadway and flaggers will assist motorists through the construction area.

Tangerine Road to Calle Concordia

El Conquistador Way (westbound) is scheduled to be closed to all traffic Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are asked to use Desert Sky Road or Greenock Drive for all access to the west side of Oracle Road during the closure. Eastbound (outgoing) traffic from El Conquistador Way will be allowed all access (straight, left or right turn) onto Oracle Road.

Twin Peaks interchange

Beginning Saturday, July 25, at 3 a.m., the right lane on westbound I-10 near milepost 245 is closed while crews begin milling, paving, striping, and barrier placement activities. The closure will remain in effect through August.

From Saturday, Aug. 1, at 11 p.m. to Sunday, August 2, at 9 a.m., westbound I-10 near milepost 245 will be reduced to one lane while crews remove and relocate roadway striping. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph through the construction zone.

On Sunday, Aug. 2, at 5 p.m., the I-10 eastbound frontage road will close from Avra Valley Road to Cortaro Road while crews re-stripe and sign the roadway in preparation for one-way travel. On Monday, Aug. 3, at 5 a.m., the frontage road will re-open with two dedicated one-way eastbound travel lanes from Avra Valley Road to Cortaro Road.

Construction and utility work are underway on the new Tiffany Loop roadway. The roadway is anticipated to be open by the end of September. Construction hours are from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. At times, weekend work will be necessary to maintain the construction schedule.
