Local artist Matthew Moutafis, right, and fire fighters Brian Rinder, left, Darrell Newburn and Jennifer Akins (behind the sculpture), unveil a new sculpture, "Oro Valley Hero" at the Golder Ranch First District's new station at Oracle Road and Linda Vista Boulevard. Moutafis said the child represents Oro Valley, which is growing and youthful, and the fire fighter is here to protect us. He said the work represents the bond between the two.
