Most students in backstage roles for Ironwood Ridge’s ‘Sweeney Todd’

In a twist, teachers were cast in most of the roles in the gory play. “I wanted more community with the teachers,” Borunda said of his choice to cast teachers in the production.

The move should ward off any controversy about students playing violent characters as well as build community among teachers, according to Borunda.
