Marana’s Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back its guided hike program starting Sept. 14. Through May, the Town offers free hikes in the Tortolita Mountains second Saturday at 8 a.m. The group meets at the Wild Burro Trailhead on the grounds of the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (14810 N. Secret Springs Drive).

The hikes range in length and elevation gain; the first one is 3 miles with a 280-foot gain.

The hikes are a great way to learn the trails, have a great time with family and make new friends. For more information, call 382-1950.
