The Tucson Sailing Club is offering to the public a sailing instruction course for beginning and intermediate sailors. There will be 8 hours of classroom instruction followed by an hour of individual on-the-water training in one of the TSC’s 13 foot Laser sailboats.

Class dates are scheduled for Tue. and Wed. evenings, Jan. 14, 15, 21, and 22, from 6 to 8 PM.

Classes will be held at the Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road., at the junction of Wetmore Rd. and Romero Roads. The on-the-water session will be Saturday, Jan. 25th, at Silverbell Lake (at Christopher Columbus Park on Silverbell Road,Tucson).

The cost of the class for individuals will be $34. Families of up to 4 may enroll for $60 with one textbook included. Club members will get a 50 percent discount. In order to comply with the FWCC rules, registration & payment must be received in advance. There will be no payments accepted “at the door.”

You may pick up your textbook in advance at the above address when payment is made, or pick it up at the door before the first class session.
