On July 7, 2014, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Rincon District deputies responded to the apartment complex located at 4500 E. Sunrise Drive reference shots fired. When deputies arrived, they learned 27-year-old Harold High and 22-year-old Angelique Williams were leaving the apartment complex when an unknown subject fired multiple times at their vehicle. Although injured, they were able to exit the vehicle and hide until deputies arrived.

Mr. High was transported to the trauma center with life threatening injures. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive. Ms. Williams was also transported to the trauma center with non-life threatening injures.

The Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit responded and took over the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
