The trial for a man charged with murder in a road rage case in Oro Valley that was slated to begin this week has been postponed to March 18. 

David Arnold Mota, arrested for first-degree murder, drive by shooting, and aggravated assault, was detained in February after shooting and killing 22-year-old Tucson resident Josh Switalski after a verbal altercation while driving along Oracle Road. Oro Valley Police responded soon after to reports of shots fired.

Jury selection was initially scheduled for yesterday at 10:30 a.m. The trial, slated for four days, was to commence the following day. The reasoning behind the delay is not fully clear at this time.

Mota entered a not guilty plea on April 24.
