On July 15, at 8:50 p.m., Robert Wesley Carney was located in an office building near the 1300 block of West Pennington Street.  He was found deceased. His vehicle had been located in the area earlier that day. An employee noticed some suspicious activity and called police.

There are no signs of foul play and preliminary evidence suggests this was an intentional overdose. The investigation is ongoing.

On June 26, Robert Wesley Carney, age 70, was reported missing from his Oro Valley residence. Attempts to locate Carney, who is currently being treated for depression, have been unsuccessful.
