On October 6, 2011, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a dead kitten was found tortured in the 4600 blk. of East Sunrise Drive and Swan Road.

The kitten had been brutally tortured and appeared to have been thrown from a moving vehicle. The kitten was black and gray colored, and was approximately two months old.

Detectives are not able to provide specific information about the details of the case; however, they are seeking the public’s assistance in locating possible suspects.

Detectives believe the incident involved one or more adolescents, and are deeply concerned because of the extreme violence associated in the slaughter.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything of this suspicious nature on October 6, 2011, in the morning, is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME. Deputy Dawn
