Beginning Saturday, Aug. 11, through Monday, Aug. 13, Eagle Rock Excavating will begin a resurfacing project on River Road between Craycroft Road and Calle Rosario as part of the offsite improvement agreement for the new Basis School on River Road. This portion of River Road will receive a slurry seal pavement treatment on the new right-turn lane on eastbound River Road to southbound Calle Rosario. The work and schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Aug. 11, from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m., the contractor will be sweeping the project limits and performing preparation work for the slurry seal.

Monday, Aug. 13, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. (or until completed), crews will be resurfacing the pavement with a slurry seal treatment and paving the new right-turn lane. Permanent striping will take place within 20 to 30 days.

Flagging operations will be in place; therefore, motorists will experience delays. Message boards will be in place to notify the motoring public. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule will be subject to change. For more information please call:
