On Thursday, August 1, at 1 a.m. deputies from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 11000 block of North Glyde Drive located outside the city limits of Maricopa in reference to a reported missing person.

When deputies arrived, they spoke with Rhonda Smith. Rhonda advised deputies that her and her husband Thomas Smith (age 50) got into a verbal argument at around 8 p.m. that evening. After the argument, Thomas left the home on foot leaving behind his wallet, keys, cell phone and the medication he needs for his type two diabetes.

Thomas has left the home before on foot for a walk but has always returned home within a few hours. Rhonda said that she is worried for her husband because he has not returned home and he needs his medication.

PCSO have searched the area around the home, followed up with his friends, checked hospitals, shelters, hotels and other locations for him with no success.

If anybody has any information regarding his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office at 520-866-5111.
