The Amphitheater School District’s annual district-wide spelling bee was held at Wilson K-8 School last week.

Odessa Mix, from Coronado K-8 School took first place, followed by Cezsar Baldonado from Prince Elementary School. In third place was Jake Pisell from Wilson K-8. Ella Johnson from Donaldson Elementary finished fourth and Joe Liang from Cross Middle School placed fifth.

These top five spellers will head to the Pima County Spelling Bee on Feb. 22.
