On Wed., Nov. 2, at 7:49 a.m., Oro Valley police responded to the 1300 block of West Rose Quartz Place in response to a burglary. The victim said she noticed three bicycles missing from her garage, which was left halfway open through the night. The victim was missing two BMX-style bikes, each valued at $300 and one road-style bicycle valued at $3,000.

On Tuesday, Nov. 1, at about 1:05 a.m., Oro Valley police responded to a house on West Tara Danette Drive in response to a disturbing the peace phone call. When police arrived people who looked under the age of 21 drinking and talking loudly in the backyard of the house. When the officer knocked on the door, the lights to the house turned off and music that was playing was turned off. After knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell several times, the tenant answered the door, and said she had been sleeping and was unaware that a party was taking place in her house. Police found seven people, all under the age of 21 in the house and asked them each to take a Breathalyzer. Two blew a reading of .000. The others were all cited and released for being under age and having alcohol in their systems. One of the people, a 20-year-old, was also cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. After leaving the house, the police officer began working on the paperwork for the call. Police noticed two individuals leaving the house who had not been talked to. One was dressed in a black and white stripe prisoner Halloween costume. Police spoke with the two people, who were underage, and took a Breathalyzer reading for both. One blew a .000 and the other blew a .114. He was arrested, handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car. On the way to Pima County Adult Jail, the man continuously asked the officer if he thought it was funny that he was dressed like a prisoner and asked why the officer was belittling him.

On Monday, Oct. 31, at about 9:45 p.m., Oro Valley police responded to a house on the 11000 block of North Mountain Breeze Drive in response to a female getting hit with something that was thrown from a car. The mother told police she was walking with her 17-year-old daughter and her daughter's friends near the intersection of Naranja and Mountain Breeze after attending a community Halloween party. The daughter told police a car drove by and threw a water balloon that hit her in the face and a rock that hit her in the leg. The impact of the balloon and rock hitting her knocked her to the ground. When she hit the ground, she hit the back of her head on the curb and was knocked unconscious. The daughter refused medical treatment and the mother did not want to press charges.
