For 100 years, the YMCA of Southern Arizona has been strengthening the Tucson community.

Since 1914, we have been committed to fostering physical, mental, and social development. As we look to the future, the Y will continue to provide programs and services for adults, children, and families. We invite you to join the celebration, as we move towards the future.

The Y is the leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the foundation of our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We are, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities.

We are a nonprofit community-based association of six branches, including a spectacular youth camp and retreat center, three program centers and more than a dozen school-based program sites, with discussions about future sites in rapidly growing areas under way.

Our impact is felt every day when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child, and when a community comes together for the common good. The Y impacts the lives of one in five Pima County residents.

YMCA of Southern Arizona is dedicated to improving the quality of human life and to helping all people realize their fullest potential through the development of Spirit, Mind and Body.

Our broad array of prevention-based programs offered throughout Pima and Southern Pinal County are designed to intentionally reach out and build relationships with community leaders, members and donors.

The Tucson Y is leading the Y movement in evidenced-based programs that help children and families build and maintain healthy lifestyles, preventing the onset of chronic disease.  And we are working with more than 350 worksites to encourage employees to live healthier, more active lives.

We leverage our strengths—our reputation as a well managed cause-driven non-profit organization, our strategically located quality facilities and our programs that meet the entire family’s needs—to effectively impact our community.
