Before school begins on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Painted Sky Elementary School in Oro Valley, students and teachers run laps around the back of the school. The Miler’s Club has been going for 10 years in the hopes of spreading the importance of fitness and health to students and the community.
More than a hundred students make their way around a small, quarter-mile loop at Painted Sky Elementary School last Thursday. Each Tuesday and Thursday students and teachers alike run and walk before class.
