Yesterday afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m., the Pima County Sheriff's Department was contacted regarding a bomb threat at the Walmart located near the Foothills Mall plaza.

The building was evacuated by store management, and the Regional Bomb Squad and K-9 Unit then searched the store. According to Deputy Tom Peine, department public information officer, nothing suspicious was found.

No suspect has been identified in regards to placing the call.
