On Saturday, Dec. 3, at 8:55 p.m., Oro Valley police responded to the Circle K at 8780 N. Oracle Rd. in response to a theft. The store manager said a male suspect took 18 DVD movies. The total value of the DVDs is $89.82.

On Friday, Dec. 2, at 10:18 p.m., Oro Valley police responded to a house on the 12400 block of Wayfarer Way in response to a house and car being egged. The victim told police they saw at least five juveniles throw eggs from a newer, white Ford F150. The truck had passed by their house, stop, and circled back two more times to throw eggs.

On Friday, Dec. 2, at 12:26 p.m., a resident on the 12700 block of North Piping Rock Road flagged an Oro Valley police officer down. The woman told police that at about 5:15 in the morning she noticed her sensor light in front of her house was on, and the door to her car was open. All she could tell had been taken was her handicap placard.

On Friday, Dec. 2, at 8:54 a.m., Oro Valley police responded to a house on the 13100 block of North Vintage Drive in response to a theft from a vehicle. The victim’s vehicle, a BMW, had been gone through and he was missing his wallet with about $15 in cash. All of the credit cards were left on the seat of the car.

On Friday, Dec. 2, at 6:28 a.m., Oro Valley police responded to a house on the 12600 block of North Morgan Ranch Road in response to a theft from a vehicle. The victim said his wallet and handgun were taken from his Toyota Tacoma. The victim said he noticed the light on inside his truck and when he got to his truck, he noticed the inside had been gone through. His 9mm pistol was valued at $600 and had about $225 worth of gift cards in his wallet.

On Wednesday Nov. 30 at about 12:30 p.m., Oro Valley police responded to the Wildlife Ridge Park at 12250 N. Woodburne Ave. in response to a theft of a sign. An 18-inch by 11-inch solid bronze plaque in honor of Bob Becker that was glued to a large red boulder near the entrance to the park, was missing. The plaque is valued at $200.
