Oro Valley

Wednesday, July 4, at 4:18 p.m., Oro Valley police responded to a residence on W. Calle Concordia in reference to a report of theft. Upon arrival police met with the vicim who said that she hds two gates with  solar panels. The victim said that her renter saw the solar panels missing at about 6:00 that morning. Police photographed the gates and evaluated the area. The victim valued the solar panels at approximately $150 each and said that she is willing to press charges.

Monday, July ,2 at 7:26 a.m., Oro Valley Police responded to a school on Oracle Road in reference to a report of Criminal Damage/Vandalism. Upon arrival, police met with a maintenance employee who said that when he arrived at work he was doing his walk through and noticed that someone had slashed two tires on a van owned by the school and graffiti on some windows. Police could not make out what the writing on the windows said. A large ceramic fountain had also been knocked over, but not broken. The employee estimated the damage to the school at about $450 including the replacement of the tires on the van.

Monday, July 2 at about 5:45 a.m. Oro Valley Police responded to a residence near Oracle Road and Rancho Vistoso Boulevard in reference to a report of criminal damage. Upon arrival police spoke with the victim who said that he found his mailbox damaged that morning. Police observed that the mailbox was damaged as if it had been stuck by a hard object. The mailbox is valued at about $25. The victim said that his neighbor sent him an email saying that he had possibly witnessed the incident. Police spoke with the neighbor who said that at 8:10 p.m. the previous night he heard a loud bang and looked over his back wall to see a vehicle drive away from the mailbox. The neighbor could only give a vague description of the vehicle and was unable to see anyone inside.
