The Town of Marana, Town of Sahuarita and the City of South Tucson will be conducting primary elections for council seats on March 12. Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez notes that in order for voters of these municipalities to cast their ballots, they must be registered to vote not later than midnight, Feb. 11.

The Town of Sahuarita and the Town of Marana will hold all vote-by mail primary

elections, and every registered voter in each Town will receive a mailed ballot.

A new voter registration form must be completed by anyone who has moved (even to a new apartment number in the same complex), changed their name since their last registration, is a new Pima County resident, or would like to change their party affiliation.

Forms may be obtained at: the Pima County Recorder’s office, any Arizona Department of Motor Vehicle branch, all post offices and libraries, political party headquarters, city/town halls, or online by logging onto servicearizona.com

Voters may also log onto the Recorder’s office website at www.recorder.pima.gov and download a form to complete and mail in, or click on the link called “EZVOTER” for the online Motor Vehicle Division voter registration system. For more information, voters may call the Pima County Recorder’s office at 724-4330. Out-of-town residents may call 1-800-775-7462 and ask for extension 4330.
