A group of northwest Tucson and Marana residents participated in Wasatch Area Race Productions’ annual Kiss Me Dirty Race Series, held at the Pima County Fairgrounds on March 17.

A portion of the race series’ proceeds benefit gynecological cancer research. The Tucson event has also partnered with the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

Explorer Production Manager Brandon Hays was among the participants in the run, along with teammates Makyla Hays, Peter and Kimberly Mangan, Logan and Melanie Garland, Reagan Guthrie and Nicole Hale.

Since Kiss Me Dirty is mainly a race for women, men who participate are encouraged to wear a “ChickSuit.”
