Foothills Club of Tucson to host charity golf tournament

The Foothills Club of Tucson (FCT) - a local 501(c)(3)non-profit, charitable organization comprised of 45 local business professionals will be hosting its seventh annual fundraiser, which is set for Friday, May 2 at the Skyline Country Club.

FTC president Pete Torrez, of Long Realty, announced this year’s primary beneficiary will be The Cascade Foundation of Southern Arizona.

Tournament Chair Mike Riordan said participants can expect a buffet breakfast, presentation of the flag by the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Color Guard, an 18-hole tournament, an awards presentation, lunch buffet and auction.

Last year, the FCT raised and distributed $20,000 to local children’s charities.
