Movie theaters hosting daylong Twilight marathon before new movie is released

The makers of “The Twilight Saga” are celebrating the release of the final installment with a daylong marathon of all five films. "Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2" opens nationwide on Friday, but theaters are showing it as the nightcap to the "Twilight" marathon.

Here are the local theaters participating:

AMC Loews Foothills 15

7401 N.La Cholla Blvd. in the Foothills Mall. The first film starts at 11:30 a.m. Admission is $25.

Cinemark Theatres: Century 20 El Con, 3601 E. Broadway; Century Park Place 20, 5870 E. Broadway; Century Theatres at the Oro Valley Marketplace, 12155 N. Oracle Road.

The marathon starts at noon and admission is $25.

Harkins Tucson Spectrum 18

5455 S. Calle Santa Cruz, off Interstate 19 and South Irvington Road. The marathon starts at 10:45 a.m. today, but all seats were sold out by early this week. Also at Harkins today, you can buy your 2013 loyalty cup ($5) and loyalty T-shirt ($25), which can be used to get $1 soda refills and free popcorn until Dec. 31, 2013.

Tower Theatres

5755 W. Arizona Pavilions Drive, off Interstate 10 in Marana. The first film begins rolling at noon today. $25.
