Energy drinks mixed with alcohol are becoming a popular choice for underage drinkers. With a high alcohol content mixed with caffeine, the drinks are considered to be more dangerous than alcohol alone. Due to the effects, the Food and Drug Administration has cracked down on drink manufacturers, requiring them to remove the high caffeine content. Companies such as Phusion Projects, the maker of the popular drink Four Loko, seen above, was one of those warned by the FDA. Even with the changes being made, energy drinks remain popular among teen drinkers.
