The Pusch Ridge baseball team gave up just a single hit and shut out San Miguel 24-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The No. 2 ranked team in Division IV have one last game before the post season begins.

Mike Doty one-hit San Miguel on his way to the shutout win. He struck out seven, while walking just one. Doty also drove in four and scored four times for the Lions who had 19 hits on the day.

Phillip Tanner also drove in four runs, while Jacob Firthsen and Chad Willis had three RBI’s.

The Lions scored six runs in the first and third inning, then to add insult to injury added 11 more in the fourth to invoke the 20-run rule and end the game.
