After 10 years at Mountain View High School, Marana head coach Andy Litten is looking at starting his second season in charge of the Tigers’ football team.

In the 2012 season, Litten led the Tigers to a 4-6 season.

With plenty of returning players, the Marana Tigers look promising in the new season.

Clarence ‘Bam’ McRae took over a struggling Mountain View team last year. Prior to McRae taking over as head coach, the Mountain Lions had seen three head coaches in three seasons.  In his first year, McRae led the Mountain Lions to a 7-3 season, and a first-round playoff victory over Cienega.

Expectations remain high as McRae begins his second season at the helm.

Troy Cropp moved up from middle school coaching in 2012 to take over the lead spot on the Lions’ football team.

Cropp led the Lions to a 6-4 record in 2012, improving from the 2011 record of 2-7 in 2011.

With plenty of returning players, the Lions are optimistic at the start of the new season.
