Dr.  Ana Tanase, board-certified in pediatrics, has recently relocated to Tucson, and joined Oro Valley Pediatrics where she will care for children newborn to age 18.

As a parent herself, Tanase understands how challenging the job of parenting can be. She uses her communication skills and non-judgmental attitude to provide comfort and make a real difference in her patients’ lives. Her practice philosophy is treating patients and their families not as “illnesses,” but as individuals in mind, body and spirit.

Tanase said, “My special field of interest is alternative and holistic medicine applying them in conjunction with traditional medicine.   I keep an open mind to homeopathy and nutritional counseling in the treatment of a wide range of conditions from the common cold to chronic pain.”

Tanase received her medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania and completed her internship and residency at The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Most recently, Tanase was affiliated with Crystal Run Healthcare in New York, an office-based, multi-specialty group with hospital privileges at Orange Medical Center for newborn nursery and floor patients.
