La Bella A Consignment Boutique opened its doors Nov. 10, 2010, and has successfully gone into its fourth year of business.

Michele Lafayette, who is the owner, previously had 15 years of corporate business background in leadership and operations training and Development.

Human resources and Six Sigma. She has always had a love of fashion and resale.

Michele opened and ran a not for profit resale boutique successfully for three years prior to opening La Bella.

Michele has been an active member of the National Association of Resale and Thrift since 2008 and was a National Conference Speaker in 2011 & 2012.

The resale industry continues to be one of the fastest growing segments in retail and it is a multi-million dollar per year industry.

La Bella has been named one of the five Best Boutiques in Tucson by www.Ask.com and was recently chosen as Best of the Northwest Retail Store by the Explorer 2014.

Another La Bella will open at a Crossroads Festival Plaza Aug. 1.

As the Oro Valley store continues to grow even after an expansion, it made sense to open another store in a Tucson store centrally located.  A large volume of clothing, designer and boutique items, high end jewelry and purses continues to come into the store, we need more selling space.  La Bella has also purchased software to begin selling items online to keep moving more merchandise.

Many women still don’t know we are here.  We are also open on Sunday for shopping from 11-4 and have a wonderful plus department carrying excellent pieces up to size 5x.
