The Oro Valley Police Department would like to inform the public of mail thefts that have occurred in the community. Between Dec. 21-22, 2013, a significant number of mailboxes were broken into in the following communities: Seasons Loop Ave/Sterling, Heather Glenn Place/Glenn Abbey Place and Eton Drive/First Ave. A black Ford F150 pick-up truck was seen in the area where these thefts occurred.

The OVPD is asking the public to check their bank accounts and credit card statements and to notify the police if they notice any unusual activity on their accounts. Please remember - do not leave delivered packages outside for extended periods of time and do not send cash in the mail. Please call the police if you see anything suspicious. If anyone has any additional information on this case, we are asking you call 911, 88-Crime or (520) 229-4900.
