On Jan. 22, a Marana citizen called the Marana Police Department to report suspicious activity.

The citizen reported seeing two males on bikes looking into homes near the 11000 block of Slate Rock Street.

Officers responded and while speaking with the two suspects, officers developed probable cause to arrest the two males for a burglary they had just committed.

The males were in possession of two stolen laptops and a Wii game system.

The males were identified as Angel Dexter Ramon, a 29 year-old Hispanic male and Bernardo Alcala Pacheco, a 17 year-old Hispanic male.

Ramon and Pacheco were both charged with 2nd degree burglary.  Ramon was booked into the Pima County Jail and Pacheco was booked into the Pima County Juvenile Detention Center.

This arrest is a great example of the collaborative relationship the Marana Police Department shares with the citizens of Marana.
