On Jan. 6, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers from Operations Division Downtown responded to the National Bank of Arizona located at 136 North Stone Avenue. When officers arrived they were advised that the suspect had left the scene and no one was injured during the incident. A search of the surrounding area was done for the suspect but he was not located.

Detectives from the Robbery Unit responded and took over the investigation. They learned that the suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect did not display a weapon. He fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running southbound from the bank.

The suspect is described as a White male, with a full beard, dirty blonde hair, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5’7’’ to 5’8’’ tall, 170 to 180 pounds, wearing a red long sleeved shirt with white horizontal stripes and a multi-colored
